The term "syllabus" (plural: "syllabi") in English refers to:
"A summary of topics which will be covered during an academic course, or a text or lecture."
In other words:
"A summary of topics that need to be known."
IREB® has defined a set of Syllabi (Foundation, Advanced, Expert) and a Glossary that together constitute an important compendium of knowledge on Requirements Engineering.
